Session Activity
We record on-page activity directly to understand how visitors use our site and to identify automated bots that visit far more often than a real user and consume server resources. Bots increasingly run real browsers and can mimic most technical signals, so behavior like mouse movement and click timing is the most reliable way we have to tell them apart from real visitors. This includes:
- Mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, including the element clicked
- Page timing and viewport size
- Your IP address and browser, used to group activity by visit
This data stays on our own servers. We do not sell it or share it with third parties, and it is kept for 90 days and then deleted. When this data points to suspicious activity, a member of our team reviews it and decides whether to block it.
Advertising
We use Google's gtag to measure the performance of our Google Ads campaigns, and Microsoft's UET tag to measure the performance of our Microsoft Advertising campaigns. Both load on every page, but only set cookies in your browser to track ad clicks and conversions if you've given consent. This is optional: you can accept or decline each of them individually in the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
Your Control
Clicking the button above withdraws any cookie consent you've given for optional tools like Google Ads measurement, and shows the consent banner again on your next page load. Session activity recording for bot detection, described above, runs for every visitor and is not affected by this button. You can also manage cookie settings in your browser or use browser privacy modes and extensions.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we'll take care of it: ac.ikskcats@ofni .
