Session Activity

We record on-page activity directly to understand how visitors use our site and to identify automated bots that visit far more often than a real user and consume server resources. Bots increasingly run real browsers and can mimic most technical signals, so behavior like mouse movement and click timing is the most reliable way we have to tell them apart from real visitors. This includes:

  • Mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, including the element clicked
  • Page timing and viewport size
  • Your IP address and browser, used to group activity by visit

This data stays on our own servers. We do not sell it or share it with third parties, and it is kept for 90 days and then deleted. When this data points to suspicious activity, a member of our team reviews it and decides whether to block it.
